Meeting with Erasmus and DAAD Grantees

Since 2014 University of Kelaniya has benefitted from Erasmus grants funded by the European Commission, and a number of undergraduate, postgraduate, academic and administrative staff grants have been secured by the university

A meeting was held for the Erasmus Mundus IMPAKT Project, Erasmus+ and German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) grantees under the auspices of Prof. D.M. Semasinghe, the Vice Chancellor on the 25th of July 2017 at the Senate room of the University of Kelaniya. The grantees who have completed their mobility and returned to the university recently shared their experiences of the invaluable opportunity offered to them through the mobility grants. The scholarship holders who are about to leave in August/September also expressed their views.

Present at the occasion were Deputy Vice Chancellor Prof. Lakshman Senevirathne, Dean, Faculty of Humanities Prof. Patrick Ratnayake, Acting Dean, Commerce and Management Studies Dr. S. M. A. K. Samarakoon, Librarian Mr. L A. Jayatissa, Registrar Mr. W. M. Karunaratne, senior administrative officers and Coordinators of the Centre for International Affairs. The event was organized by Prof. Neelakshi C. Premawardhena, Director, International Affairs and Coordinator, Erasmus Projects.
