The Centre strives to be a hub institute for Korean studies in the Southeast Asia region. It seeks to achieve this through the conducting of joint activities with universities and related organizations in Korea and abroad.
The Centre conducts diverse projects in research, education, and promotion of Korean studies. Through these projects it targets things below: ① the rise of Korean language capability of the university's internal and external students, ② the promotion of understanding Korean culture with ordinary citizens, ③ the encouragement of academic activities by the specialist
