Research Council and the Research & Publication Committee of University of Kelaniya decided to have research presentations by the researchers who completed research grants under Strengthening Research grant scheme of the University Research Council.   The 1^st presentation of the research carried out under Strengthening Research 2016 grant was held on 07^th August 2019 in the Senate room. The presenter was Senior Prof. N. P. Sunil Chandra, Cadre Chair, Department of Medical Microbiology, Faculty of Medicine under the research titled “A Study on the Association of Hantavirus infection and leptospirosis with Chronic Kidney Disease of Uncertain Etiology (CKDu) among patients in Sri Lanka”. Members of Research & Publication Committee and Research Council were invited. In addition those who interested were participated.
