Academic Collaboration with Sapienza University, Italy

An initial discussion to outline avenues of collaboration with Sapienza University, Rome was held online on 22nd June 2022.  H.E. the Ambassador to Italy Dr. Jagath Wellawatta, Mr. Sisira Senavirathne, Deputy Head of Mission, Embassy of Sri Lanka to Italy, Dr. Hamid Misk, in charge of Internationalisation and International Agreements, Graziella Gaglione, Non-EU Mobility and International Education Agreements Unit, Alessandro Perri, Erasmus+ mobility from Sapienza University, , Prof. Gamini Lanerolle Acting Director, International Relations, University of Moratuwa, and Senior Prof. Neelakshi C. Premawardhena, Director, Centre for International Affairs, University of Kelaniya participated in the discussion.

Sapienza University is currently ranked no. 1 in Italy and is placed among the top 200 universities in the world. The collaboration is facilitated by the Embassy of Sri Lanka to Italy.
