On the 11th of March 2023, the Confucius Institute at the University of Kelaniya successfully held the first HSK & HSKK home-based online examination in 2023. For this exam, nearly 100 people from the Confucius Institute at the University of Kelaniya took part in the exam. Among them, the HSK level 4 test, due to the need to apply for scholarships, the number of people has increased significantly compared with the previous few times.
Because the Confucius Institute at the University of Kelaniya has experience in holding home-based online exams many times, whether it is organizing the work before the exam or using the client before the exam for candidates, the pre-examination Training and other work are becoming more and more standardized.
At present, the power shortage problem in Sri Lanka has not significantly improved. An unstable power supply often occurs, resulting in a great lack of network signal stability. The heavy rain and strong winds on the day of the test caused serious interference to the network signal. Interruption, so that the exam had to extend supplementary time.
With the joint efforts of the lecturers of the Confucius Institute at the University of Kelaniya and the strong support and help of Chinese Test International, we finally overcame various difficulties and emergencies and successfully completed the test.
