marking his third consecutive year of recognition, during the Ceremony of Long Service Awards and Vice-Chancellor’s Awards of the University of Kelaniya, held on the 01st of January 2025 at the Dharmaloka Hall of the University of Kelaniya.
The award was presented by Senior Professor Nilanthi de Silva, Vice-Chancellor of the University, in recognition of his exceptional contributions to the success of the Communication and Media Unit and his efforts to enhance the university's reputation.
Senior Lecturer Rajapaksha has served as the Director of the Communication and Media Unit since August 2021 and was reappointed for the second consecutive term in August 2024. He has worked with great dedication to uplift the image of the university.
Held annually since 2007, the event aims to recognize and appreciate the contributions of both academic and non-academic staff members over the past year, as well as to motivate them for future achievements.
The Communication and Media Unit extends its heartiest congratulations to Senior Lecturer Saman Rajapaksha for this well-deserved achievement and wishes him continued success in his future endeavors.
