Green country Green money

Dr. Madurika Nanayakkara, Senior Lecturer and a consultant attached to the Department of Commerce and Financial Management, Faculty of Commerce and Management, University of Kelaniya is a renowned researcher and activist with interests not limited to controlled substances, sustainable development, and Finance. In the following interview, she expresses her views on Green country Green money, a timely topic addressing the 1 st and 8th goal of Sustainable Development Goals – ‘No poverty’, ' Decent work and economic growth and she elaborates on how we got here and the way forward, This interview was done to the Abacus magazine published by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka on Green Finance Taxonomy of Sri Lanka.

SDG Youth Summit 2022

The first-ever Youth SDG Summit is organized parallelly to the ICBI 2022. The Faculty of Commerce and Management Studies, University of Kelaniya is hosting the Youth SDG Summit to empower the younger generation to continue working toward sustainable development goals. The summit will bring together a multi-sector coalition of youth, development experts, government and UN entries, NGOs and the private sector to create the Asia we want together.
