Kelaniya, Sri Lanka - The Gender Equity and Equality Club at the University of Kelaniya hosted a compelling literature review discussion on February 9th, 2023, exploring the complex issue of gender-based violence. The event marked the 10th anniversary of Anoma Janadaree's impactful biopic “Punarukthi” (Recantation) and featured a captivating analysis of relevant literature by the renowned actress herself.
Held at the Social Science Auditorium, the discussion brought together members of the Gender Equity and Equality Club for an insightful examination of gender-based violence and its profound societal impact.
