The Staff Development Programme offered by University of Kelaniya provided a comprehensive understanding of the responsibilities of an academic in andragogy. I had the privilege of following the programme in Cycle 22, which was conducted despite the challenges posed by the pandemic. The sessions gave new insights on the numerous pillars which we must focus on and develop with a vision towards contributing to the betterment of our field of study, university and the country. I’m grateful to everyone at SDC and all the resource personnel for all their efforts
