Book donation to the German Section of the Department of Modern Languages on 20th March 2023
Ms. Maya Pieris from Kiribathgoda donated several rare and valuable books to the German Section and the students of German. The collection of books belonged to the late husband of Ms, Pieris. The event was attended by the staff of the German Section and the Centre for International Affairs, family of Ms. Maya Pieris and Dr. Thanuka Hansameenu, Department of Mathematics who coordinated with the Centre for International Affairs to facilitate the donation.
