The Centre for International Affairs in collaboration with the Goethe Institute Colombo organised a reading session by the renowned German poet and essayist Max Czollek from Berlin in the Boardroom of the Faculty of Humanities on 21st January 2025. Mr. Stefan Winkler, Director of the Goethe Institute and Ms. Esta Wnkler, Intern at the Goethe Institute also attended the session. The staff and students of German Studies joined the session of reading from his poems in Die Endungen and the introduction in his work Desintegriet Euch! The reading was followed by a lively discussion with questions related to the works posed by the staff and students.
