Senior Lecturer Saman Rajapaksha was appointed as the Director of the Communication and Media Unit for the 2nd consecutive time. The appointment letter was handed over to the Director by the Cadre Chair & Senior Professor Nilanthi de Silva, the Vice-Chancellor of the University of Kelaniya, on the 9th of October 2024, at the Vice-chancellor’s Office.

The launching ceremony of the Vidulakara newspaper issued by the Communication and Media Unit of the University of Kelaniya was held on 3rd January 2024 at the Auditorium of the Faculty of Social Sciences.
