Nearly 52 probationary lecturers representing the Advanced Technological Institute, Rajarata University of Sri Lanka, University of Kelaniya, University of Moratuwa, Ocean University of Sri Lanka, Sabaragamuwa University, University College of Ratmalana, National Institute of Social Development, Saegis Campus and The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka are following the course this time. This year the course is being conducted adhering to strict COVID-19 health guidelines.
Prof. Nilanthi de Silva, Vice Chancellor- University of Kelaniya graced the occasion as the Chief Guest at the inauguration of the course and she highlighted the importance of developing human resources of higher educational institutes. Senior Lecturer Dr. Pavithra Godamunne, Director, Staff Development Centre was also present at the occasion and introduced the programme to the participants.
This programme conducted by the Staff Development Centre of the University of Kelaniya since 1998, is one of the leading and most in-demand staff development programmes in Sri Lanka and was the first such programme to obtain ISO 9001-2015 Standard Certification.
