Nearly 60 probationary lecturers representing the Advanced Technological Institute, Buddhist and Pali University of Sri Lanka, Bhiksu University of Sri Lanka, General Sir John Kotelawala Defence University, Rajarata University of Sri Lanka, University of Kelaniya, University of Moratuwa, University of Ruhuna, University of Vocational Technology and Wayamba University of Sri Lanka participated at the programme.
Dr. P.N.D. Fernando, Dean-/Faculty of Commerce and Management Studies graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. Cadre Chair and Senior Prof. N.P. Sunil-Chandra, Chairman/Research Council, Dr. Bandara Wanninayake, Director-Staff Development Centre and Senior Lecturer Dr. Kusum Herath, Coordinator of Staff Development Unit (Faculty of Humanities) were also present at the occasion.
This programme, conducted by the Staff Development Centre of the University of Kelaniya is the Sri Lanka’s prime and exclusive staff development programme which has obtained ISO 9001-2015 Standard Certification and also it is being conducted since 1998.
