Activities & Events

The workshop which was held with the objective of making the university staff members aware of the implementation of “Green Concept”, aimed mainly at non-academic staff members. Nearly 60 non-academic staff members representing all the departments and faculties participated at the workshop.

A resource person of the workshop: Senior Lecturer Dr. U.P.K. Epa, Director/CSS of the University of Kelaniya delivered a lecture on the “Implementation of Green Concept within the University”. The other resource persons of the workshop and members of the CSS: Senior Lecturer Dr. Rangika Bandara and Senior Lecturer Dr. D.S.M. De Silva delivered speeches on “Carbon Foot Print” and “Conservation of Energy Resources”, respectively. Moreover, Senior Lecturer Dr. Nayana Goonathilake discussed the relationship between “Environment and Human Health”.

Senior Lecturer Dr. W.M.C. Bandara Wanninayake, Director/SDC also graced the occasion.
