A meeting was held with Mr, Maxime Blondel, Project Officer of the International Office of Rouen University, France on 8th April 2023. The meeting was attended by Director, Centre for International Affairs, Senior Professor Neelakshi C. Premawardhena, Senior Lecturer in French, Dr. Samanthi Jayawardhena and Coordinator, International Student Affairs Ms. Sanduni Iddamalgoda. Discussions were held on how to further strengthen the Erasmus partnership and enhance staff and student mobility opportunities between the two universities. Rouen University has hosted 11 undergraduates and several academic staff members from the Department of Modern Languages under Erasmus Mundus and Erasmus+ projects. University of Kelaniya has so far hosted academic and administrative staff and one undergraduate from Rouen University.
