The University of Kelaniya rugby team delivered a commanding performance at the SLUG 2025 rugby tournament, defeating South Eastern University of Sri Lanka by an impressive 111 - 0.

The match was held on 28th June 2025 at the University of Peradeniya Rugby Grounds. Kelaniya crossed the try line 19 times, successfully converting 8 of those tries, demonstrating outstanding teamwork, speed, and tactical dominance throughout the game.
