  • Advance Sport Management Course 2009/2010 Diploma in Management of OlympicSports Organizations (MOSO) (Olympic Solidarity) Conducted by the National Olympic Committee of Sri Lanka (NOC SL)  and International Olympic Committee (IOC).

  • Diploma in Sports at the National Institute of Sports Science in Sri Lanka in 1987/1988 (Specialized in Track & Field, Football and covered 16 different Sport disciplines.

  • Olympic solidarity course for Track & Field at New Delhi, India in 1989.

  • Diploma in Track & Field Electronic Time keeping Operating system conducted bi OMEGA SA, Switzerland.

  • Solidarity course in Fencing at Bangalore, India in 1996, conducted by Indian Olympic Committee and World Fencing Federation.

  • Won the Triple Jump at the Indo – Sri Lanka Schools Dual Athletic Meet held at Colombo in 1982 & awarded ds the best Athlete of the meet.   
National Level:
  • Captained in Athletic Team of Dharmapala Vidyalaya, Pannipitiya 1982/83.           
  • Public Schools Athletic Championships                                                 
  • Won the Discus Throw and Triple Jump in 1980 (Under 17)                                         
  • Won the Triple Jump, Under 19 in 1981 and 1982.                                                                                                     
  • Won the Triple Jump event in National Schools Athletic Championships 1980 - 1982.                                      
  • Member of the Record Breaking team in 4X400M. & Medley Relay at Sri Lanka Schools Relay Carnival 1981-82                                                                                                                      
  • Won the Long Jump & Triple Jump at Junior National Championships in 1982 (U 19)  & 1984 (U21)
