German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) Workshop for academics of German Studies in India and Sri Lanka

The German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) Bonn, Germany and New Delhi, India jointly organized a workshop on modules developed for advanced learners of German on Moodle platform (Dhoch3) Module 9 “Regional and Cultural Studies in German as Foreign Studies” at the Indian Institute of Technology, Mumbai from 7th to 10th August 2024 with the participation of senior academic staff of German from universities in India. University of Kelaniya and Sabaragamuwa University of Sri Lanka, the only two universities offering BA Honours in German Studies, were also invited to participate in the programme. Senior Professor Neelakshi C. Premawardhena represented the University of Kelaniya. Content of the modules are being integrated into the German Studies Honours Degree programme of the current academic year.
