The University of Kelaniya and the Department of Physical Education proudly congratulate Ms. Hesanya Welikala, Captain of the TAekwondo (Women) on winning the Best Fighting Spirit – Female Poomsae Athlete award at the 8th Asian Taekwondo Indonesia Championships 2026 (G2) in Jakarta, Indonesia. Ms. Welikala is a remarkable 3rd-year undergraduate student pursuing a BSc Honours in Sports Science degree through the Sports and Exercise Science Unit of the Faculty of Science.
