The ‘Inter-University Baseball Championship 2024’ was held from the 12^th to 14^th of October 2024 at the Sabaragamuwa University of Sri Lanka. Baseball Teams representing all state universities participated in this competition.

During this competition, the University of Kelaniya’s Baseball team secured the 2^nd runners-up position. In this category, the University of Colombo claimed the championship, followed by the University of Moratuwa as the 1^st runner-up.

UoK beat South Eastern University by 11-01, Ruhuna by 09-07 in Group Stage and Uva Wellassa in Quarter Finals by 11-0. UoK lost the Semi Finals to Moratuwa by 04-07. But they managed to beat University of Sri Jayewardenepura as 17 - 12 in the Consellation Final
