As a step towards contributing to minimizing energy wastage, a workshop on Introducing Energy Saving Strategies was held at 9.00 a.m. on the 29th of November 2022 at the Auditorium of the Staff Development Centre of the University of Kelaniya.

The Staff Development Centre conducted workshop on ‘Adoption on Green Concept in Sustainable Laboratory Waste Management’ in collaboration with University Health & Safety Services (UHSS) Steering Committee for the technical officers of the University of Kelaniya.
The workshop was held on 15th of September 2022 at the board room of the faculty of science.

The Staff Development Centre conducted a workshop on ‘Workplace Etiquette and Professional Behavior' for Management Assistants and Library Assistants of the University of Kelaniya.
The workshop was held on 2nd of March 2022 at the Staff Development Centre Auditorium.
The resource person was Mrs. Nayana Karunaratne a leading corporate trainer who has conducted many successful training programmes on etiquette and personality development. She provided valuable inputs on workplace etiquette and professional behavior to the workshop participants.

The Staff Development Centre Conducted a workshop on Sustainable Development Goals in Higher Education for Deans of faculties, Heads of Departments / Unit, and Directors of Centers was held on 27th January 2022 at the Senate Board Room.
The main objectives of this workshop were to educate participants about Sustainable Development Goals and the role of Higher Education in achieving these goals and to encourage them to develop strategies to incorporate these goals into teaching-learning, research, and governance.
The Staff Development Centre conducted a workshop on ‘Fire Safety’ in collaboration with the University Health & Safety Services (UHSS) Steering Committee for the Non-academic Staff of the University of Kelaniya.
The workshop was held on the 15th of December 2022 at the Auditorium of the Staff Development Centre.
