The Staff Development Centre of the University of Kelaniya conducted a workshop on official communication in online platform for Administrative Officers at the University on 2nd of July 2020.

The main purpose of the workshop is to improve their work efficiency and perform their duties effectively. Dr. Ruwan Wickamaarachchi was the resource person who contributed the valuable guidance and instructions to the workshop successfully.

The 22nd session of the staff development programme conducted by the Staff Development Centre, University of Kelaniya commenced on the 28th of January 2020 at the Staff Development Centre.

Nearly 90 probationary lecturers representing the Advanced Technological Institute, Buddhist and Pali University of Sri Lanka, Bhiksu University of Sri Lanka, Rajarata University of Sri Lanka, University of Kelaniya, University of Moratuwa, University of Ruhuna, University of Vocational Technology and Wayamba University of Sri Lanka participated at the programme.

This programme, conducted by the Staff Development Centre of the University of Kelaniya is the Sri Lanka’s prime and exclusive staff development programme which has obtained ISO 9001-2015 Standard Certification and also it is being conducted since 1998.

The Certificate Awarding Ceremony of the Staff Development Programme for Probationary lecturers conducted by the Staff Development Center (SDC) of the University of Kelaniya was held on 08th of November 2019 at the Auditorium of the SDC.


Accordingly, certificates were distributed to 75 probationary lecturers from the 21st batch who have successfully completed the programme.

 

This session was presided over by Prof. D.M. Semasinghe, Vice- Chancellor of the university. The event was graced by Senior Lecturer Dr. Bandara Vanninayake, the Director of SDC, the probationary lecturers who have followed the programme and the staff of the SDC.
