"The London Bridge has fallen”, what is the meaning of this phrase?  This phrase is used to convey the death of Queen Elizabeth to the prime minister and key personnel, setting the plan in motion.

Queen Elizabeth or Queen Elizabeth Alexander Mary was born on 1926, April 21st   in London, and died on the 8th of September 2022. She was the 6th female monarch who ascended the British monarch. She was homeschooled under their mother and governess, Marion Crawford.  She learned music, literature, history, and language through homeschooling.

She ruled The United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, Head of the commonwealth, defender of the faith. She was the first royal child to be Christened in Buckingham Palace. And also she was the first to see the crowning of her parents, King George VI and Queen consort Elizabeth.  Then she became presumptive when her father was crowned as King George VI. Then she became a colonel in the British army and a member in Privy Council and council of state. In 1939, she moved to Windsor Castle with her sister during World War II where she met her husband, Philip of Greece. In 1947, she got engaged to Philip of Greece.    In 1952, Queen Elizabeth ascended to the throne in Western Abbey .She became the Queen at the age twenty five, following her father. She was very simple in court life and serious in government business and she was interested in ceremonial and traditional duties. She worked against gender discrimination.

She addressed the United Nations general assembly in 1957 and the Buckingham Palace was opened to public show to raise money for repair of Windsor Castle.  In 2002, Queen Elizabeth celebrated his golden jubilee or 50th anniversary in her throne. After her coronation, she became the Head of seven commonwealth countries which are known as the United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, Pakistan, and Ceylon. She visited Sri Lanka in 1954, she stayed at Colombo for 10 days, she visited Kandy and watched the Kandy Esala Maha perahara.
She was a girl guide when World War II began. And she was a good horse rider. Queen Elizabeth was a dog lover, she especially loved the Corgis breed. She has four children, 

eight grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. She was a world honoured and famous character who owned a huge power. She was lucky enough to live a long healthy life with power and prestige. After the death of her husband Prince Philip in 2021, the queen Elizabeth has fallen sick several times and was under the watch of the doctors. However, she did not forget to keep smiling on every occasion. Maybe it was too much for her to bear. After her passing away, her eldest son, Prince Charles who is in the age of seventy three accessed the throne on 9rd September 2022. The funeral of Queen Elizabeth is planned to be held in Westminster Abbey in London.
