A special workshop entitled “Grooming ” was conducted by the Career Guidance Unit (CGU) on the 19th November 2019 at the Auditorium of Faculty of Social sciences. This is the first workshop of a series of awareness programs to coincide with the Career Fair in 2019. Undergraduates representing all faculties attended this event. The resource person of the event was Ms.Yureni Noshika, the well known Artist and Modeller in Sri Lanka.Mr. Jayantha Munasinghe - The Director of CGU , Dr. Asanka Pallewatta - Career Guidance Advisor of the Faculty of Computing and Technology , Dr. Nalin Warnajith – Career Guidance Advisor of the faculty of Science , Career Counselors , CGU staff members and members of the Organizing committee of Career Fair participated in this workshop. This Grooming Session was helpful for the development of the soft skills of the undergraduates and to offer guidance and to create awareness of opportunities related to their career.
