The Rover Scouting Badge Investiture Ceremony, organized by the Career Guidance Unit (CGU), University of Kelaniya, was held successfully on the April 2nd, 2025, at the Auditorium of the CGU. The ceremony celebrated the achievements of Rover Scouts who successfully completed their advancement requirements and earned badges.

The University of Kelaniya Rover Crew successfully held its first-ever meeting on the 24th of October 2024, from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Cyber Ground of University of kelaniya. The event was led by Rover Scout Leaders Mr. Sampath Kariyawasam and Mr. Indika Prasanna, marking the beginning of a new chapter for the University's scouting community.

“The Rover Scout Program”, initiated by the Career Guidance Unit (CGU) of the University of Kelaniya, was held on the 25th of September 2024 at the CGU Auditorium. The CGU has taken a significant step in collaboration with the Sri Lanka Scout Association to initiate the formation of the first-ever Rover Crew at the University of Kelaniya.
