The Career Guidance Unit (CGU) of the University of Kelaniya hosted the Third Open Day of Career Fair 2025 on January 31, 2025, from 8:30 a.m. onwards at the university premises. The event, held in collaboration with Abans PLC, provided students with valuable career insights and internship opportunities.
A key highlight of the Open Day was a workshop on "Interview Facing Tactics", conducted by Ms. Krishani Dela, Head of Talent at Abans PLC. The workshop held at the G3 Hall of the Faculty of Commerce and Management Studies, attracted over 100 students keen on improving their interview skills and job readiness.
Senior Professor Dilkushi Wettewe, Director of the Career Guidance Unit, graced the occasion alongside Mr. K. A. M. Viraj Abeysinghe and Mrs. R. P. A. Minoon Perera, Career Counselors, and members of the organizing committee for Career Fair 2025. The event concluded with interviews conducted by Abans experts, aiming to provide internship opportunities for university students.
