A special workshop entitled “Oba Asirimath – Undergraduate program” was conducted by the Career Guidance Unit in collaboration with the District Secretariat of Gampaha on the 26th November 2019 at the Career Guidance Unit, Training Centre. Department of Manpower and Employment sponsored this program. Undergraduates representing Social Sciences, Humanities and Computing and Technology faculties attended this workshop. The objective of this program is to develop knowledge, skills and attitudes of undergraduates.
This was the second session of “Oba Asirimath” program. The exercises of restraint and creativity thinking are practiced on this day. Resource persons tried to create awareness among students through various activities. Ms. Nilanthi Perera (Career Guidance Officer) Ms. Rupika Kannangara (Career Guidance Officer)) participated in this program representing District Secretariat, Gampaha. Career counselors were also present at the workshop.
Undergraduate’s feedback indicated that the program was really helpful for their Skills development.
