A special workshop entitled “Oba Asirimath – Undergraduate program” was conducted by the Career Guidance Unit in collaboration with the District Secretariat of Gampaha on the 26th November 2019 at the Career Guidance Unit, Training Centre. Department of Manpower and Employment Sponsored this program. Undergraduates representing Social Sciences, Humanities and Computing and Technology faculties attended this workshop. The objective of this program is to Develop knowledge, skills and attitudes of undergraduates.
This was the third session of “Oba Asirimath” program. On this day, exercises on self-examination and identification of the working world were conducted. Resource persons tried to create awareness among students through various activities. Mr. Rohana Kithsiri ( Additional District Secretary ) Ms. Nilanthi Perera (Career Guidance Officer) Ms. Rupika Kannangara (Career Guidance Officer) Mr. W.M.G. Bandara (Human Resource Development Officer ) participated in this program representing District Secretariat, Gampaha. The Director of the Career Guidance Unit and Career counselors were also present at the workshop.
Undergraduates feedback indicated that the program was really helpful for their Skills and career development.
