The 'CV Writing' and 'Social Etiquette' workshop, organized by the Department of Mass Communication in collaboration with the Career Guidance Unit (CGU) of the University of Kelaniya, was held for the first-year BA (Hons) Mass Communication undergraduates as part of the Communication Skills subject (MACO 22432)(E). The event took place on March 27th at the Social Sciences Faculty Auditorium.
The workshop focused on how to create an effective CV and tailor it for job applications. The Social Etiquette session covered professional behavior and manners when preparing for job interviews. The workshop was conducted by Mr. K.A.M. Viraj Abesinghe and Ms. Minoon Perera, Career Counsellors from CGU at the University of Kelaniya.
