Program 46 :  “Oba Asirimath”  - Undergraduate program

A special workshop entitled “Oba Asirimath – Undergraduate program” was conducted by the Career Guidance Unit in collaboration with the District Secretariat of Gampaha on the 26th November 2019 at the Career Guidance Unit, Training Centre. Department of Manpower and Employment Sponsored this program. Undergraduates representing  Social Sciences, Humanities and Computing and Technology faculties attended this workshop. The objective of this program is to Develop knowledge, skills and attitudes of undergraduates.

Program 45 : "Upadhidhari Vyawasayaka Udanaya"

A special workshop entitled “Upadhidari Vyawasayaka Udanaya” was conducted by the Career Guidance Unit in collaboration with the National Enterprise Development Authority  on the 24th  N0vember 2019 at the Career Guidance Unit, Training Centre. Undergraduates and pass out students representing Commerce and Management, Social sciences, Humanities and Science faculties attended this workshop. The objective of this program is to encourage graduates for business and self-employment.                                                                                                            

Program 44 : “CV writing and LinkedIn for professionals”

A special workshop entitled “CV writing and LinkedIn for professionals” was conducted by the Career Guidance Unit (CGU) on the 22nd November 2019 at the Auditorium of Faculty of Social sciences. This is the second workshop of a series of awareness programs to coincide with the Career Fair in 2019. Undergraduates representing all faculties attended this event. The resource person of the event  was Ms.Keshavi Puswewala (HR Business partner, Unilever Sri Lanka)

Program 43: Workshop on Grooming - Career Fair 2019

A special workshop entitled “Grooming ” was conducted by the Career Guidance Unit (CGU) on the 19th November 2019 at the Auditorium of Faculty of Social sciences. This is the first workshop of a series of awareness programs to coincide with the Career Fair in 2019. Undergraduates representing all faculties attended this event. The resource person of the event was Ms.Yureni Noshika, the well known Artist and Modeler in Sri Lanka.

Program 42: Communication Skills

This programme conducted by the Career Guidance Unit in collaboration with the Department of Sanskrit and Eastern Studies for undergraduates of the Department of Sanskrit and Eastern Studies. The resource person of the event was Mr. Madhura Jayasinghe, the Career Guidance Counselor of the National Career Guidance Association. This programme was helpful for the development of the soft skills of the undergraduates and to offer guidance and to create awareness of opportunities related to their career.
